Join AtkinsRéalis as a Senior Lead Engineer focused on Protection & Control in Burnaby, BC. This opportunity involves designing innovative systems while overseeing junior engineers in a collaborative environment.<br/><br/>We seek a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 7-10 years of hands-on protection & control experience. In this role, you will prepare designs compliant with the Canadian Electrical Code, develop bill of materials, and conduct site visits. You will work closely with your team to ensure project success and improve operational processes.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:
• Create Protection & Control designs from concept to implementation
• Prepare detailed electrical schematics and layouts
• Program and troubleshoot Protection & Control devices
• Supervise, mentor, and advise junior engineers
• Compile reports and assist in proposal preparations<br/><br/>Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• 7-10 years of related work experience
• Knowledge of Canadian electrical standards
• Professional Engineer registration with EGBC
