Job Summary:

The Solutions Team is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist – Automotive Vertical located in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a hybrid opportunity.

This position will lead the Automotive vertical within the Solution Marketing team. The role acts as a strategic lead to understand, assess, and recommend path forward for growing market share in the Automotive supply chain and logistic vertical.

In this exciting role, you will be at the forefront of Automotive vertical and Specialty portfolio growth. This is a high internal visibility role. Your responsibilities will include:

Job Duties:

  • Designing and executing strategies for the vertical and its key subsegments
  • Develop business cases and recommendations to drive revenue and volume growth using market, financial, and competitive insights
  • Developing annual business and vertical plans aligned with organizational growth objectives
  • Leading strategic projects and global product initiatives, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies and Canadian market needs
  • Plan, develop, and implement initiatives, including value added services, capabilities and product launches, to allow FedEx to capitalize on opportunities within the automotive vertical and segments
  • Delivering executive-ready insights and updates on strategy, performance, and key initiatives
  • Conducting advanced data analysis through the adoption of AI tools and resources, to inform strategic decisions and optimize performance
  • Leading cross-functional execution of the automotive vertical initiatives.
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members while supporting broader sales efforts
  • Enhancing processes and tools through advanced quantitative decision-making methodologies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing / business administration.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in related Automotive Marketing vertical
  • Hands-on knowledge of Product Marketing, Program & Project Management
  • Proven ability to lead major business initiatives and deliver measurable results
  • Strong expertise in advanced data modeling, analysis, and insights generation
  • Demonstrated success in market research, competitive analysis, and strategy development
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for driving value
