We are looking for a Senior Planner to join our team! The Senior Planner plays a critical role in shaping the commercial success of the business by driving strategic planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization across categories. This role blends analytical rigor with a strong understanding of product, ensuring the right styles are available in the right place, at the right time.

Acting as a key partner to Merchandising and cross-functional teams, the Senior Planner translates business insights into actionable strategies that support growth, protect brand integrity, and maximize profitability.

Some of What You’ll Do:

  • Own and maintain planning tools and flowcharts, ensuring they accurately reflect current sales performance, inventory position, and forward-looking risks
  • Lead business reviews, clearly articulating key changes, risks, and required actions to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Build and manage detailed forecasts for core products at style-color level across channels and regions, adjusting based on sell-through, trends, and current trading
  • Monitor stock coverage and demand patterns to proactively prevent stockouts or excess inventory
  • Partner closely with Buying to construct and refine buy plans, validating depth, breadth, and overall investment against sales expectations
  • Identify inconsistencies or risks within the buy and recommend adjustments to improve balance and performance
  • Drive allocation decisions by region and size curve to ensure inventory is aligned with demand and store plans requirements
  • Support the management of inventory across its lifecycle, including identifying and actioning aged stock in collaboration with key partners
  • Contribute to assortment decisions by providing data-driven insights on performance and inventory productivity
  • Build and maintain detailed plans for core and repeat products at SKU level, ensuring continuity and appropriate stock levels
  • Perform rigorous data validation across planning files to ensure accuracy and reliability of outputs
  • Initiate and manage chase orders based on in-season performance, leveraging historical data and current trends
  • Allocate chase quantities strategically to maximize sales capture while managing inventory risk
  • Track execution to ensure timely delivery and impact on the business
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on sales, inventory, and product performance to identify drivers of performance and areas of opportunity
  • Translate insights into clear recommendations that influence planning, allocation, and buying decisions
  • Continuously improve planning tools, reporting, and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and visibility across the organization

Some of Who You Are:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in merchandise planning within fashion, apparel, or luxury retail
  • Strong product sensibility combined with advanced analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is an asset
  • Proven ability to manage complexity across multiple categories and markets
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindset

Given the international nature of our business and of this position, the candidate will be required to communicate effectively, on a regular basis, with various stakeholders (co-workers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, etc.) located in Canada outside Quebec or throughout the world. Proficiency in languages other than French (notably, English) will be an asset for the successful candidate.
