What is the opportunity?

As the Senior Product Manager for AI/ML Products, you will lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and operationalization of cutting‑edge AI/ML solutions that revolutionize how RBC manages risk, ensures regulatory adherence, and strengthens control frameworks.

AI and machine learning are pivotal in interpreting complex regulatory requirements, predicting risk exposures, automating compliance workflows, and enabling proactive decision-making. Your products will address challenges like real‑time transaction monitoring, regulatory change management, control testing automation, and predictive risk analytics, directly contributing to RBC’s resilience and regulatory leadership.

What will you do?

  • Own the vision and strategy for multiple AI‑driven Risk & Regulatory Compliance products, defining roadmaps that align with regulatory priorities, business needs, and technological advancements.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams (data scientists, engineers, ML Ops, legal, and risk experts) to design and deliver scalable AI solutions, from prototyping to production.
  • Drive product execution: Translate complex regulatory and risk requirements into actionable technical specifications, ensuring solutions meet accuracy, interpretability, and auditability standards.
  • Optimize product operations: Monitor performance metrics, iterate based on stakeholder feedback, and ensure seamless integration with existing risk/compliance ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts in risk, controls and regulatory compliance to identify high‑impact use cases (e.g., automating regulatory reporting, detecting control gaps, or stress‑testing scenarios).
  • Champion innovation: Experiment with advanced techniques (e.g., LLM and agentic workflows for regulatory document analysis, generative AI for policy interpretation, Vision model tuning for unstructured image analysis) while ensuring ethical AI practices.
  • Influence and communicate strategic priorities to senior leadership, bridging technical and business stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of agility, compliance‑by‑design, and continuous improvement.
