Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the implementation of a SaaS-based Student Information System across multiple institutions. This role involves governance, vendor management, schedule control, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project governance and represent client in steering committees, vendor workshops, and advisory meetings.
- Maintain project schedule, change logs, and ensure adherence to Statement of Work (SoW).
- Coordinate centralized and local project teams; define roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor project status, risks, and expenditures, report to executive committees.
- Liaise with vendors (Thesis Elements, 3D Solutions) and advocate for solution adjustments.
- Oversee change order processes and milestone approvals.
- Support colleges in business process mapping and readiness activities.
- Facilitate collective business rules, naming conventions, and reporting standards.
- Provide guidance on technical requirements, enhancements, and data migration strategy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management for large-scale technology implementations.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong vendor management and governance experience.
- Familiarity with SaaS implementations and post-secondary sector is an asset.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
