Position: Senior Project Manager

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $130,000 – $170,000

A well-established General Contractor specializing in (ICI) renovation projects is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex renovation and fit-out projects across the Greater Toronto Area. This role requires a results-driven professional who can manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all phases of ICI renovation projects, ensuring alignment with budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.
    • Lead project planning, procurement, and resource allocation to meet client and contractual requirements.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying risks and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
    • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, fostering strong working relationships.
    • Conduct regular project meetings, track milestones, and report progress to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards on-site while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
    • Mentor junior Project Managers and Coordinators, providing guidance and technical support
    • throughout the project lifecycle.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience managing Institutional, Commercial, or Industrial renovation projects, preferably within occupied or complex environments.
    • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
    • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, cost control, and scheduling software.
    • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with at least 5 years dedicated to ICI renovation projects.
    • Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline.
