HVAC / Mechanical Services – Service Department Manager

Are you an experienced HVAC or Mechanical Services leader ready to take ownership of a growing service division? We’re seeking a dynamic Service Department Manager to lead a high-performing team while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth.

Role:
As the Service Department Manager, you’ll provide strategic leadership for the entire service operation while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and strong financial performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing Service Foremen and Service Technicians
- Managing scheduling, staffing, and daily service operations
- Driving departmental efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Resolving complex service issues with professionalism and confidence
- Monitoring key performance indicators and departmental budgets
- Improving systems, processes, and operational workflows
- Supporting health and safety initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Helping develop future leaders within the organization

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience within HVAC or mechanical service operations
- Previous leadership or management experience
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience improving processes and building high-performing teams
Experience:
- Commercial or industrial HVAC experience
- Hydronic heating systems
- Boiler and burner systems
- Greenhouse mechanical experience (an asset, not required)
- Budgeting and financial management
- Experience leading organizational change
