About the Role
We are seeking a versatile, persistent product engineer who can build reusable components across the tech stack and advocate for the time to do so. As a Product Engineer, you will own a large portion of one of our products, taking projects end‑to‑end from research and design to implementation and release.<br/><br/>Responsibilities<br/><br/>Own large features – from concept to shipping – wearing hats traditionally held by product and design teams.<br/><br/>Research competitors, write product specs, create wireframes, and design user interfaces.<br/><br/>Implement end‑to‑end solutions, including backend logic, database schemas, and front‑end components.<br/><br/>Build and maintain reusable building blocks (e.g., declarative filter architecture, signing‑off flow).<br/><br/>Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to integrate features.<br/><br/>Provide mock/research-based prototypes to validate concepts with customers.<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>Strong full‑stack engineering skills and a willingness to tackle any part of the stack.<br/><br/>Experience delivering features with significant product and technical ambiguity.<br/><br/>Ability to balance speed and quality, delivering high‑quality code at an ambitious pace.<br/><br/>Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to vet decisions with stakeholders.<br/><br/>Proactive in creating leverage through automation, tooling, and abstraction.<br/><br/>Prior ownership of end‑to‑end projects and a desire to grow independently.<br/><br/>Benefits<br/><br/>Competitive salary and equity.<br/><br/>10‑year exercise window for stock options.<br/><br/>Unlimited PTO, with encouragement to use it.<br/><br/>Minimum 12 weeks fully paid parental leave.<br/><br/>Generous equipment, software, and office furniture budget.<br/><br/>$100/month education budget for conferences and learning.<br/><br/>Top‑tier health insurance in the US (100% premiums paid) and high‑quality supplemental coverage in other regions.<br/><br/>Interview Process<br/><br/>Introduction call with Hiring Manager (15–30 minutes).<br/><br/>Technical screen: pair programming in our codebase (1 hour).<br/><br/>Three non‑coding interviews focused on product thinking, technical design, and infrastructure (≈3 h 15 min total).<br/><br/>Optionally, an additional 30‑minute recruiter screen depending on bandwidth.<br/><br/>Hiring Commitment & EEO Statement
