Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist/ Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Canada

Work Model: Remote

Duration: Contract

Pay Range: CAD$30-40/hr T4 (depends upon years of experience)

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment. This role is ideal for someone strong in sourcing, headhunting, and managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of roles (up to 100 at a time) for retail/store hiring
  • Drive proactive sourcing using LinkedIn, job boards, and other platforms
  • Reach out to passive candidates, including students and early-career talent
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines
  • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR teams
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment and job postings
  • Participate in hiring discussions, reporting, and strategy meetings
  • Support ongoing recruitment projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience (or 3+ with strong agency + sourcing focus)
  • Experience in high-volume hiring environments
  • Strong headhunting and direct sourcing skills
  • Retail hiring experience preferred
  • Knowledge of U.S. job market and employment practices
  • Experience with ATS tools (e.g., Workday) is a plus
