Take the lead in Traffic Operations as an EG5 Engineer 5 with the Manitoba government in Winnipeg, MB. This full-time role requires a Bachelors in Engineering and extensive traffic engineering experience.<br/><br/>The Traffic Operations Engineer will provide expert guidance and supervision to a team of engineers and technical staff. You will oversee specialized traffic engineering programs and contribute to management and financial accountability within the senior management team. This position combines leadership and technical expertise to enhance urban and rural traffic infrastructure projects.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering expertise and guidance to engineers
• Approve and deliver specialized Traffic Engineering programs
• Lead and coordinate management within the Branch<br/><br/>Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil preferred)
• Experience in traffic engineering and highway design
• Experience managing financial resources
• Supervisory experience with staff
