<p><b>Vice President, Business Development – Americas</b></p><p>(Confidential Global CDMO)</p><p><br></p><p><b>The Opportunity</b></p><p>A global CDMO specializing in small-molecule APIs and oncology development is seeking a Vice President of Business Development for the Americas. The focus of this role is to drive commercial growth by securing new business from biotech and pharma clients in global emerging markets, including but not limited to Latin America, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and parts of Africa.</p><p><br></p><p>We have made multiple successful placements with this client. They are a highly reputable organization with significant financial backing and a strong commitment to supporting their commercial leaders.</p><p><b>Your Role</b></p><p>This is a senior-level, hunter-focused business development position. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new client relationships across North and South America, with a focus on emerging market customers.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead business development efforts across the Americas while targeting global emerging markets</li><li>Engage clients in regions including but not limited to Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru), Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines), Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania), India, Türkiye, South Africa, and the Middle East</li><li>Build relationships with clinical and commercial-stage biotech, emerging biotech, and mid-sized pharmaceutical companies</li><li>Sell small-molecule CDMO services with an emphasis on APIs and oncology products</li><li>Drive strategy, build a pipeline, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions</li><li>Represent the organization to C-level decision-makers and technical stakeholders</li></ul><p><b>What You Bring</b></p><ul><li>A minimum of 10 years (or there abouts) of business development experience in pharmaceutical services or CDMO settings</li><li>Proven success selling small molecules, APIs, and preferably oncology or high-potency APIs</li><li>Strong experience working with clients in emerging markets</li><li>Established network within biotech and mid-size pharma organizations</li><li>Ability to work independently and build a regional strategy from the ground up</li><li>You must be based in the Americas, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, or Chile</li></ul><p><b>Compensation and Interview Process</b></p><ul><li>Competitive six-figure base salary, reflective of experience</li><li>25 percent annual performance bonus</li><li>Commission scheme negotiable based on experience and deal structure</li><li>Full benefits package, travel coverage, and necessary commercial tools</li><li>Two-stage interview process</li></ul><p></p>
