Water Resources Engineering EIT
Location: Burnaby, BC<br/><br/>We are seeking a Water Resources Engineering EIT for a new role in our Burnaby office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience working on stormwater design projects and a general understanding of civil construction. They will work successfully within a team, communicate effectively with team members and clients, and demonstrate initiative, motivation, and enthusiasm for getting things done.<br/><br/>Responsibilities<br/><br/>Design of civil systems associated with stormwater facilities<br/><br/>Writing of technical memorandums and reports<br/><br/>Performing construction inspections and field review memorandums<br/><br/>Preparing documentation for design projects and reports<br/><br/>Assisting with the preparation of construction cost estimates<br/><br/>Assisting with the preparation of project specifications and contract documents<br/><br/>Minimum Requirements<br/><br/>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education<br/><br/>Preferred Qualifications<br/><br/>1+ years of relevant experience in stormwater infrastructure design<br/><br/>Eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC<br/><br/>Master’s Degree in Water Resources<br/><br/>Experience in civil engineering, hydraulic modelling, planning, design and construction inspection<br/><br/>Experience with Civil3D, PCSWMM and ArcGIS software<br/><br/>Working knowledge of contract documentation, including MMCD and CCDC/NMS<br/><br/>Working knowledge of green infrastructure: ponds, wetlands, bioswales, raingardens, etc.<br/><br/>Working knowledge of stormwater infrastructure in a Municipal environment, with the Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MOTT) and in the Mining sector<br/><br/>Excellent written skills needed for technical reports<br/><br/>Proficient with MS Office Suite<br/><br/>Valid BC Class V Drivers License<br/><br/>Excellent attention to detail<br/><br/>Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients<br/><br/>Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment<br/><br/>Additional Information<br/><br/>Relocation is not available for this position.<br/><br/>Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.<br/><br/>Compensation
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $60,000 to $77,000.<br/><br/>Benefits
