About the Role
We are looking for a CAD Automation / EDA Tools Engineer to support our MILE and Quantum teams in building, maintaining, and optimizing CAD tool workflows. This role is critical in ensuring stable, scalable environments for analog and mixed-signal design teams.
You will work closely with design and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues, improve automation, and enhance overall tool efficiency.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and debug scripts for CAD tool workflows
- Maintain and enhance existing automation flows in analog design environments
- Troubleshoot issues across multiple scripting languages and EDA tools
- Support and optimize tool flows in Linux-based environments
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure reliable and scalable solutions
✅ Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems
- Proven experience writing, debugging, and deploying Python scripts
- Ability to understand and debug scripting languages such as:
- Tcl
- Perl
- Ruby
- Experience working with EDA/CAD tools, including:
- Cadence Virtuoso
- Siemens Calibre
- Synopsys StarRC
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting CAD tool flows for analog or mixed-signal design teams
- Background in semiconductor / VLSI design environments
- Exposure to design infrastructure and automation frameworks
