Lead the Manitoba School Boards Association as Executive Director, focusing on educational governance and advocacy. This role requires strategic oversight, stakeholder engagement, and high-level leadership skills.
As Executive Director
You will report to the Association’s Provincial Executive, guiding strategic directions while overseeing member programs. In this key leadership role, you’ll manage human resources, finances, and member services, ensuring alignment with Association priorities. Partnering with external stakeholders, you will represent the Association and advocate for public education improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Provincial Executive with strategic planning
- Lead advocacy initiatives within educational sectors
- Manage member communications and support services
- Supervise financial performance and budget planning
- Provide leadership to Senior Leadership Team and staff
Requirements
- Degree in education or public administration
- Proven leadership experience in senior roles
- Knowledge of governance practices in education
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation
