Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Human Resources Payroll Manager at AISIN World Corp. of America. The Human Resources Payroll Manager oversees end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, verification, and reconciliation for multiple pay cycles while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role administers payroll-related taxes, deductions, and benefits, coordinates with finance on general ledger entries, and prepares regular payroll reports and audits. The manager partners with HR and leadership to support compensation changes, employee life-cycle events, and HR policies, and serves as a primary contact for payroll and benefits-related inquiries. Day-to-day responsibilities also include improving payroll processes, maintaining secure and accurate records, supporting system upgrades, and training team members and stakeholders on payroll procedures and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, including experience supporting multi-location or multi-state workforces.
- Knowledge of Employee Benefits administration, including payroll deductions, benefit enrollments, and coordination with benefits providers.
- Experience managing Employee Relations matters related to payroll and benefits questions, issue resolution, and service-oriented support.
- Thorough understanding of HR Policies and payroll regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local labor and tax laws.
- Proficiency with payroll and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, Workday, or similar), advanced Excel skills, and comfort working with large data sets.
- Demonstrated experience in payroll administration or payroll management, preferably in a mid- to large-sized organization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
