What will I be doing?
- Support the technical design and execution of data analytics to enhance audit scoping, testing, monitoring and reporting.
- Apply automation, AI, and data analytics to enhance audit processes to improve efficiency, assess risks and controls, and provide better audit insights.
- Present complex data findings in a clear and compelling manner using data visualization tools and dashboards.
- Continuously develop and maintain scalable and reusable analytics that enhance fraud detection and control testing.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential control gaps.
- Review source data for quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies, and work with audit teams and business leads to resolve gaps or limitations.
- Support the documentation of analytics processes, logic, methodologies, assumptions, and data sources to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and auditability.
Must Haves
- 5 years experience – Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python for querying, manipulating, validating, and analyzing data.
- 5 years experience and skill with preparing analyses, summaries, memos, and reports using computer applications including Power-BI, Databricks, and MS suite.
- 5 years experience – Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential control gaps
Location: Up to 3 days onsite (subject to HM’s discretion)
Public Sector Experience: must have, nice to have or not necessary
