Description
For more than 35 years, Concert Properties has built a reputation as one of Canada’s most respected real estate organizations. Owned by union and management pension plans and institutional investors representing over 200,000 Canadians, Concert develops, owns, and manages real estate across Canada in pursuit of building a people-first future. With over $6.6 billion in assets under control, Concert has built over 12,000 homes and currently owns and manages approximately 5,000 rental homes and more than 12 million square feet of industrial and office real estate across Canada.
As the business continues to grow and evolve, Concert is seeking an accomplished executive to lead its national Property Management platform. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and joining the Senior Leadership Team, this is an opportunity to influence not only the performance of a significant real estate portfolio but also the people, culture and standards of care that support the communities we serve.
Your New Role
Founded with a mandate to create assured rental housing, property management sits at the heart of Concert’s story. This role is about much more than overseeing day-to-day operations; it is about creating an environment where buildings perform, people thrive and every property is cared for with the quality and service that define Concert.
As Senior Vice President, Property Management, you will provide strategic leadership across a national portfolio of residential and commercial assets, working closely with colleagues in Asset Management, Development, Leasing, Finance, Investments and Capital Projects to ensure each property continues to deliver exceptional value for the people who live and work in Concert’s communities.
You will lead a large, geographically dispersed team while setting the vision for service excellence across the portfolio. From establishing clear performance expectations and developing future leaders to improving processes, implementing consistent operating standards and driving financial performance, your influence will be felt across every aspect of the business.
Equally important will be your ability to think like an owner. You’ll help guide capital investment decisions, champion preventative maintenance and forward-thinking asset management, and ensure that operational decisions support both immediate performance and the long-term value of the portfolio. Through strong leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and a relentless focus on continuous improvement, you’ll help shape the next chapter of Concert’s property management platform—one grounded in quality, responsibility and doing what’s right.
What Sets You Apart
You are an experienced real estate executive who understands that exceptional property management extends well beyond building operations. You appreciate the connection among people, operations, financial performance and long-term asset value, and you’ve built a career leading teams that consistently deliver across each of these areas.
You bring significant experience overseeing large, diverse property portfolios, combining operational leadership, financial discipline and strategic thinking. Whether improving performance, leading organizational change, mentoring future leaders or partnering with executive stakeholders, you bring a calm, thoughtful and highly collaborative leadership style that earns trust across an organization.
Most importantly, you understand that exceptional service starts with engaged, empowered people. You care deeply about building strong teams and creating a culture grounded in respect, trust, collaboration and continuous learning.
What You Can Expect
This is a rare opportunity to join one of Canada’s most respected real estate companies in a role that will shape the future of its national operations. You’ll become part of a collaborative executive team that values integrity, long-term thinking and doing what’s right. Concert has built its reputation by investing in its people, properties and the communities it serves, and you’ll have the opportunity to build on that legacy while helping to establish the next generation of operational excellence across the portfolio.
Along with a competitive executive compensation package, you’ll find an organization that empowers its leaders, encourages new ideas and provides the platform to make a meaningful and lasting impact.
